We remember the thousands of workers who have been killed, injured or have suffered illness as a result of work-related incidents. Flags at all Ontario government buildings, including Waterloo Region District School Board schools and worksites, will be flown at half-mast.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Where buildings are closed for the weekend, our flags will be lowered at the end of the day today until we open on Monday, April 29.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">This day also honours the family and friends who have also been affected by these tragedies.<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>April 28 is the annual National Day of Mourning for Persons Killed or Injured in the Workplace.
