This includes the celebration of Vaisakhi, the spring harvest celebration.<\/p>\n<h2>Facts About Sikhism<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>Sikhism is the fifth-largest religion in the world, with over 30 million followers.<\/li>\n<li>The Sikh faith was founded by Guru Nanak and shaped by his nine successors, during the 16th and 17th centuries in South Asia.<\/li>\n<li>The Sikh faith is one of the world\u2019s youngest religions, founded over 500 years ago.<\/li>\n<li>The word Sikh means \u201clearner\u201d in Punjabi.<\/li>\n<li>A Sikh temple is called a Gurdwara.<\/li>\n<li>In April, Sikhs celebrate Vaisakhi, also known as Khalsa Day.
