We\u2019re excited to welcome all our students, from Kindergarten to Grade 12, back to school. Below, families will find important information they need to know for the beginning of the school year.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

School Information for Parents, Caregivers and Families<\/h2>\n

Our <\/span>online information package<\/span><\/a> is now updated for the 2021-2022 school year. Please take a few moments to review this information. The information in the online package applies to all students in WRDSB. School-specific information will be sent out by each school through their regular channels.<\/span><\/p>\n

Elementary Class Assignments<\/h3>\n

We are committed to keeping your children safe. To comply with privacy legislation we have changed the way we communicate elementary students\u2019 home classrooms for September. Class lists will no longer be posted on the outside windows or doors of your child\u2019s school.<\/span><\/p>\n

If you are a parent or caregiver using <\/span>School-Day<\/span><\/a>, you will be able to view classroom information starting September 4. Please log in at your convenience throughout the weekend and follow the steps below for accessing this information.<\/span><\/p>\n

If you do not use School-Day, class lists will be available inside the school on the first day of classes. Teachers will also have the class lists available on the morning of the first day of school to help determine the location of your child\u2019s classroom.<\/span><\/p>\n

Student Transportation<\/h2>\n

Bus schedules are now available. For instructions on viewing details about your child\u2019s bus information, visit <\/span>Student Transportation Services of Waterloo Region (STSWR)<\/span><\/a> or call 519-744-7575.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Need to Register?<\/h2>\n

Families can register their child online with the WRDSB on our <\/span>Registration page<\/span><\/a>.<\/span><\/p>\n

New to Canada?<\/h2>\n

Our <\/span>Welcome Centre for Newcomers<\/span><\/a> is now open. Assessments at the Welcome Centre are done by appointment only. Please contact the Welcome Centre to book an appointment:<\/span><\/p>\n
