Set a goal for your reading today. How much will you read?<\/p>\n<p>After you have read, find a time to talk to someone about your reading. (e.g., at lunchtime, when you are walking with your family, or before bed)<\/p>\n<p>Things you might talk about:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>What happened in the story you were reading today?<\/li>\n<li>How did this story (or the events in the part you read) make you feel?<\/li>\n<li>What is something that happened in the story that you think is important? Why?<\/li>\n<li>What did you learn from your reading today?<\/li>\n<li>What was the most interesting thing you read about?<\/li>\n<li>What was the hardest part of the book?<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Remember to find time to read every day!<\/p>\n<p>Other Opportunities:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Talking about TV shows and videos you have viewed helps develop vocabulary and language skills.
