(e.g., straws and play dough, toothpicks and\u00a0marshmallows, rolled-up newspaper and tape)<\/li>\n<li>Help your child with building skeletons of some three-dimensional figures.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<h3>After you finish building a figure ask:<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>How many edges does your three-dimensional figure have?<\/li>\n<li>How many vertices (corners) does your three-dimensional figure have?<\/li>\n<li>Can you see any 2D shapes in your skeleton? How many?
