You know best what schedule will work for you and your children.<\/p>\n<p>Many families tell us that developing a consistent routine can be helpful. However, routines need to be flexible, because things can change &#8211; especially at this time. Children respond well when they know the sequence of key events in their day. For example, \u201cAfter breakfast I do something active\u201d or \u201cbefore bedtime, I have a snack and then we read a story\u201d.
