Why do you think that was?<\/li>\n<li>How do you know that colour represents that fraction?<\/li>\n<li>What is the largest fraction you see? What is the smallest?<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Extensions &amp; Adaptations:<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>If having trouble seeing fractions, start with whole numbers &#8211; \u201cif each triangle is worth 1, what numbers do you see represented? Ex., \u201cThe purple trapezoid would be worth 3.\u201d<\/li>\n<li>Create their own \u201cfraction number search\u201d designs &#8211; using triangles instead of square units allows us to see thirds and sixths more clearly!<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Discuss the following image with your child &#8211; what fractions do you see represented?
