On his walk yesterday he saw a total of 28 birds.<\/p>\n<p>He saw twice as many chickadees as blue jays.<br \/>\nHe saw three fewer blue jays than woodpeckers.<br \/>\nHe saw one red-tailed hawk and 10 chickadees.<br \/>\nHe also saw some herons.<\/p>\n<p>How many herons, blue jays and woodpeckers did he see?<\/p>\n<h3>Questions and Prompts to Support your Child:<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Which bird did you figure out first?<\/li>\n<li>What have you tried so far?
