Materials:<\/h2>\n

Approx. 25 pieces of Paper (8.5 X 11), 1 blank piece, the rest can be used
\nPencil, crayons or pencil crayons, tape<\/p>\n

Instructions:<\/h2>\n

1. Ask your child to draw a picture on a piece of paper.<\/p>\n

\u201cLet\u2019s pretend we have lots of pictures just like this one.
\nHow many do you think would fit on the refrigerator door?\u201d<\/p>\n

2. Have your child estimate the number.<\/p>\n

3. Have your child find out the actual number of sheets of paper that fit by covering the door with papers. Make sure there aren\u2019t any gaps.
\nIf you don\u2019t have enough paper you could problem-solve another way to do it (make one row across and mark the end with tape then make another row etc.)<\/p>\n
