It is important to recognize a genre of writing so we know what characteristics to expect when we are reading and the features to incorporate when we are writing.<\/p>\n<p>Today we focus on the genre of fiction. You are probably very familiar with fiction writing. It can be found in the picture books and novels you read to mention a couple of forms.<\/p>\n<p>There are many subgenres of fiction.
