When you receive an award you often make a speech when you accept it.<\/p>\n<p>Your turn! Write an acceptance speech for the award you created for yourself.<\/p>\n<p>When writing an acceptance speech it is useful to consider:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>the purpose of your speech (gratitude for being recognized)<\/li>\n<li>the tone you would like your speech to covey (serious, humorous)<\/li>\n<li>the audience (who will be hearing your speech)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Don\u2019t forget to think about the impactful ways you might use oral language to enhance your message.<\/p>\n<h3>Daily task!
