What is the sorting rule for each circle? What about the shapes that are in the middle where the circles overlap?<\/p>\n<h2><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-73628\" src=\"http:\/\/schools.wrdsb.ca\/athome\/files\/2020\/06\/SortOut5.png\" alt=\"2 overlapping circles, there are a variety of squares in the first circle and a variety of red shapes in the second circle, in the middle where the 2 circles overlap there are red squares.\" width=\"400\" height=\"334\" srcset=\"https:\/\/schools.wrdsb.ca\/athome\/files\/2020\/06\/SortOut5.png 527w, https:\/\/schools.wrdsb.ca\/athome\/files\/2020\/06\/SortOut5-300x250.png 300w, https:\/\/schools.wrdsb.ca\/athome\/files\/2020\/06\/SortOut5-165x138.png 165w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 400px) 100vw, 400px\" \/>Your Turn<\/h2>\n<p>Now it\u2019s your turn to try some sorting activities using the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.shodor.org\/interactivate\/activities\/venndia\/index.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Shape Sorter<\/a>.<\/p>\n<h3>Play Make The Rule<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Click on the button with the yellow, green, and blue overlapping circles at the left of the screen.<\/li>\n<li>Click on the grey button with two separate circles.<\/li>\n<li>Beside \u201cRule of Circle 1\u201d, Click on the &#8220;Choose a rule&#8221; and choose a shape or colour that you want to sort by. Beside \u201cRule of<\/li>\n<li>Circle 2\u201d, Click on the other &#8220;Choose a rule&#8221; and choose another shape or colour to sort by.<\/li>\n<li>Drag each shape that fits one of the rules to the correct circle. Drag all the shapes that do not fit either rule to the area outside the circles. A message will appear when all the shapes are in the correct locations.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Click the &#8220;New!&#8221; button to start a new game.<br \/>\nTry clicking the overlapping circles to use the Venn diagram.<\/p>\n<h3>Play Guess the Rule<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Click on the button with the red question mark at the left of the screen and click on the grey button with one circle.
