Activity #1<\/h2>\n

Some foods have a handy word to say how much of it you want, for example, a slice of pizza, or a spoonful of sugar, a glass of water. Here is how to say those in French.<\/p>\n

In French, there are other handy words that are used to describe amounts or quantities for food.<\/p>\n

  • 200 grammes de \u2026<\/li>\n
  • deux tranches de \u2026<\/li>\n
  • 6 pots de \u2026<\/li>\n
  • une bouteille de \u2026<\/li>\n
  • un tube de \u2026<\/li>\n
  • un paquet de \u2026<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    To create a sentence you might say “Je veux une bouteille d\u2019eau” or “Je veux deux tranches de pizza.”<\/p>\n

    Use each of these handy expressions and create a sentence for each using the sentence starter \u201cJe veux\u2026\u201d<\/p>\n

    You can also create a mini booklet of the sentence created with an image\/picture. You could do this on the computer application or draw in a booklet with pictures cut out from magazines.<\/p>\n
