Look at the landscape <a href=\"https:\/\/robinmeaddesigns.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">by Robin Mead<\/a>. Notice the way she uses lines, colours, and shapes to create emphasis.<\/p>\n<h2>This is what you will need:<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>a white sheet of paper<\/li>\n<li>choose from crayons, markers, coloured pencils, pastels, paints or different coloured pens<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>Instructions<\/h2>\n<ol>\n<li>Use different types of lines to draw a scene from outside (a landscape) or something inside (still life).<\/li>\n<li>Vary the width of your lines. Make some lines thicker than others.<\/li>\n<li>Use warm colours (reds, oranges, yellows) for the sky and cool colours (greens, blues, purples) for the water.<\/li>\n<li>Include some patterns and try to make your colours blend into another colour.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>This week we are focusing on line variation and colour gradation.
