Each May, Speech and Hearing Month provides an opportunity to raise awareness about communication disorders and the work of WRDSB Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) and Communicative Disorders Assistants (CDAs) do in helping our students to communicate and engage in learning. These staff address a broad range of communication challenges impacting everyday life for our students, and this has not changed in the face of COVID-19. Our SLPs and CDAs continue to find ways to support their students either by phone, online or in person.<\/p>\n
