The Application – Due January 12, 2024
There are 3 steps to the 2024-2025 IAP Application. Please complete all 3 steps by January 12, 2024. If you have any questions, contact the Arts Registrar
Step 1: The Application Form
You will need the following information to fill out the IAP Application Form.
- Your progress, mid-term, or most recent report card (N/A for homeschooled students)
- Your Graduation Summary (High school students only)
- Your Ontario Education Number (OEN) (N/A for homeschool or out-of-province students)
- The name of the teacher who completed the Teacher Reference Form for you
- The name of the person who paid the $50 IAP application fee on school-day for you

Step 2: Teacher Reference Form
Please ask a teacher at your current school to fill out a teacher reference form for you. If you are homeschooled you may ask a coach, private teacher, or community leader for a reference provided that person is not related to you.

Step 3: IAP Application Fee – $50
Please pay the application fee through School-day.
Anyone, including families who are not currently part of the Waterloo Region District School Board, can sign up for a school-day account.
School-day accepts major credit cards and cash, but it does not accept Visa-Debit cards. If you select “cash” as your payment option, please drop the money off at Eastwood’s main office (760 Weber St. E, Kitchener) between 7:30 A.M. and 3:15 P.M. Monday-Friday.
How to Pay:
- Go to school-day.com and create an account by clicking on “Register” at the bottom right hand corner of the dialogue box on the screen (If you already have an account, go directly to step 2)
- Login to your school-day account
- Go to your dashboard on the left hand side of your screen and choose “Schools and Groups”
- On the menu that appears, choose “All Schools”
- From the Dropdown list at the top of the screen, choose “Waterloo Region District School Board”
- Scroll down the list of schools until you find “Eastwood Collegiate”. (It will be on the second page)
- Click on “Eastwood Collegiate” and then click on “Join School” at the top right hand of your screen
- Now you will be able to see Eastwood’s “Products” (tab in top centre of your screen)
- Click on “Products” and then click on “2024-2025 IAP Application Fee”
- Fill in the required information on the next screen and then click “Add to Cart”
- Select your cart at the top right hand corner of your screen and then choose “Checkout” or “Will Pay by Cash Payment” at the bottom right hand corner of your screen
- Fill in your payment information or drop off cash at Eastwood Collegiate between 7:30 A.M. – 3:15 P.M. Monday -Friday
The Audition – January 29. 30, 31 & February 3, 2024
Every one who applies to the IAP gets and audition. You can start preparing as soon as you know what arts areas you want to audition for.
Remember: You must audition for at least one Arts Major and you may audition for up to three.

Digital Submissions – Due January 26, 2024
Please send digital submissions (Dance Music, Vocal Accompaniments, Arts Technology, and Music Production work) to arlene_thomas@wrdsb.ca or through the Digital Submissions Google Form.
