Information for Teachers: Blair Outdoor Education Centre Field Trips<\/h2>\n
After your bus has been booked, please tell me about your class using the Planning Form 2025-26.<\/a><\/strong><\/pre>\n

    1. Family Letter and Forms<\/b><\/h2>\n
    Please be certain to use this Family Letter on school day as it informs parents about the potential risks, conditions, and what kids should bring with them: <\/b><\/h3>\n
    OEE Field Trip Family Letter 2025-26<\/a><\/strong><\/pre>\n
    You will have to manually update your copy of the letter with information specific to your class and trip date.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
    Complete <\/span>IS-04-F-1<\/span><\/a> form and send it to parents.\u00a0 Your Principal will also need a copy of this form.<\/span><\/p>\n
    Parent permission form <\/span>IS-10-F-2 Field Trip Form<\/span><\/a>. <\/span>(<\/span>Parent Student Information and Consent for on-going off Campus Activities<\/span><\/i>).\u00a0 You can send printed permission forms home, use school day and\/or use a google form to collect parent permissions.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
    2. Transportation Procedures<\/b><\/h2>\n
    School staff are responsible for booking the school bus.\u00a0 Please check with the office if you are unsure of bus booking procedures at your school.\u00a0 \u00a0Payment will be made for your school by Learning Support Services.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
    There is no cost to schools for OEE Centre visits.\u00a0 Busing costs for WRDSB Outdoor Education programs are covered by Learning Support Services.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
    Teachers are required to complete the <\/b>Off Campus Category 1 form <\/b>(IS-11-FA) <\/span><\/a>with Principal permission, including the bus confirmation number, and submit to<\/b> finance-off-campus@wrdsb.ca<\/span><\/a>. School staff are responsible for booking their own buses and recording the appropriate information on the <\/span>Off-Campus Excursion Category I<\/span><\/i> form (IS-11-FA).\u00a0 On the budget code line of the off campus form school staff should indicate <\/span>\u201cTo Be Covered By LSS\u201d.<\/b><\/p>\n
    Please book school buses as early as possible given that bus availability can be limited.<\/strong>\u00a0 <\/span><\/pre>\n
