But I saw a bunch of birds of my own this week. When I first got here I saw a Bald Eagle eating at a deer the wolves had killed earlier. I saw a bunch of Ravens too.\u00a0 There have been tons of Blue Jays flying around and I got to see a Gray Jay today too. The most interesting though was the black-backed woodpecker I saw today while I was waxing traps.<\/p>\n<p>I also got to listen to the wolves howling over a kill, and yesterday driving home from North Bay we passed a hundred deer.<\/p>\n<p>I almost hit two does on the lake today while I was driving my snowmobile. They were flying!<\/p>\n<p>Oh, and I also caught my first fisher today, I couldn&#8217;t believe how big they actually are!
