{"id":1522,"date":"2021-10-22T01:13:55","date_gmt":"2021-10-22T01:13:55","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/schools.wrdsb.ca\/pathways\/?page_id=1522"},"modified":"2021-11-11T01:04:24","modified_gmt":"2021-11-11T01:04:24","slug":"hrac","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/schools.wrdsb.ca\/pathways\/dual_credit\/oyap\/hrac\/","title":{"rendered":"313A &#8211; Refrigeration &#038; A\/C Systems Mechanic"},"content":{"rendered":"<h2>Class Descriptions<\/h2>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 10px;\">The curriculum standard for the Level 1 Refrigeration &amp; A\/C Systems Mechanic trade program is based upon the on-the-job performance objectives, located in the industry-approved training standard and is organized into reportable subjects, such as:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Mechanical Cooling Cycle<\/li>\n<li>Electrical Fundamentals<\/li>\n<li>Cutting, Soldering, Brazing, Welding<\/li>\n<li>Installation<\/li>\n<li>Maintenance<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 10px;\">The in-school program focuses primarily on the theoretical knowledge and the essential skills required to support the performance objectives of the Apprenticeship Training Standards. \u00a0The practical portion of the in-school program is used to reinforce theoretical knowledge.
