This morning when I was out filling up our bird feeders at Laurel Creek I found some more tracks on the swamp bridge.  These were really neat looking because they were left in the frost.  These are raccoon tracks as it walked along the bridge railing.  They walk with alternating gait so the back foot lands beside the front foot.

This second set of tracks shows an animal crossing the entire bridge.  I think it was also dragging something, I could see the drag marks in the frost.  Or maybe it had long enough fur to drag on the ground?

From the size, pattern of steps and the proximity to the water, I think it was a mink that left these tracks.  I haven’t seen tracks like these before so let me know if I am wrong.  Super cool.
