Oct. 23, 2024 is Take Me Outside Day.

Take Me Outside Day helps raise awareness about outdoor learning and encourages educators and students to explore beyond the four walls of the classroom.

Educators are encouraged to take their students outside for learning. Spend more time outside, be active and connect with nature.

Try and spend at least one full hour outside with your class.  If you are looking for ideas, resources, worksheets, lesson plans reach out to one of our Outdoor Education Specialists!

RESOURCE: Take Me Outside Day: A Celebration of Outdoor Learning Educators can register to receive information and ideas: This FREE virtual event is an entire week full of activities, speakers, and prizes to encourage folks to head beyond the four walls of a classroom! With the help of our 100+ outdoor learning partners, there is something for all ages, grades, and subjects under the three central themes of Indigenous Perspectives & Knowledge, Environmental Education & Climate Change, and Health & Wellbeing
