We just saw a beaver’s dam and lodge on our hike.  We didn’t see them because they were inside their lodge.  We also saw some Yellow Birch trees that had been chewed on,  it was dripping with sap and some people tasted it.  It tasted like water with a little bit of sugar in it.  The dams were huge piles of sticks, and a hole in the middle.  The entrance was under water.  It was really cool seeing it!
