Hespler Public has braved these suddenly cold (though more seasonal) temperatures to do pond study at Wrigley corners. Air temperature is negative 0.5 and a nice sunny day. The water temperature is 13 degrees Celsius. Groups have been catching lots of leeches, red spotted newts, scuds and back-swimmers.
