The lead level for one drinking fountain (faucet in Tuck Shop, fix reference #401C) have exceeded the provincial drinking water standard of 10 ug/L (micrograms per litre).

Corrective action:

  • Flush ALL drinking water fixture daily;
  • Drinking fixture WOD-16 will not be used for drinking or food preparation.

Test date: June 15, 2018
Standing result: 83.2 ug/L
Flushed result: 7.7 ug/L
Corrective action:

  • Flush drinking water fixture daily;
  • Remove and replace water faucet.
