Aujourd’hui on va visiter La Musée d’Orsay à Paris. Cette musée a été construite en tant qu’une gare pour l’Exposition Universelle en 1900. Eventuellement, la gare d’Orsay a reconnu sa nouvelle vie comme musée en 1986. En visitant la musée, tu as devant toi un tableau fait par Van Gogh en 1888. C’est sa chambre de son enfance. Quels sont les similarités et les différences entre sa chambre et la tienne?

Après avoir regardé le tableau de Van Gogh, tu peux visiter les autres expositions dans le musée en cliquant sur les petites images en bas de l’écran.

Après avoir visité la musée, écris et dessine tes refléxions en français dans un journal. As-tu jamais visité un musée? Fais un lien entre la chambre dans le tableau et la tienne.

Today we are visiting La Musée d’Orsay in Paris. The museum was built as a train station for the1900 World’s Fair. The museum was transformed in 1986. As you visit the museum you will see a painting of Van Gogh’s bedroom from his childhood circa 1888. What are the similarities and differences that you notice between his bedroom and yours?

After viewing Van Gogh’s painting, you can visit other exhibits in the museum by clicking on the small images at the bottom of the website.

Once you have visited Van Gogh’s painting and any other exhibits that you want, write and/or draw your reflections in French in a journal this week of the places that you visit. What are your impressions of the museum? Which pieces of artwork did you enjoy best? Least? Make a connection between Van Gogh’s bedroom and yours.
