Reflecting and Sharing

You have been doing a lot of writing, and reading things that others have written. One of the very best things about writing is sharing it with others.

Look back at some of your pieces of writing. Which pieces of writing would you like to share with others? Think about:

  • Which pieces of writing use words in the very best way to create a picture for the reader?
  • Is there a piece of writing that you think is funny? Interesting?
  • Which piece of writing are you most proud of? Why?

Choose the piece that you like the very best.

Tell a buddy (a parent, another adult, a brother or sister, your teacher, even a pet) why you love your writing. Read it to your buddy. Does your buddy have some writing they would love to share with you?
