Getting Started

Day One

Goals

  • Build a personal reading list
  • Make a plan for when and where you will read every day

Make a list of books and other texts that you would like to read at home.
(See the ideas below to help you make your list.)

Questions to think about:

  • What are some of your favourite books or authors?
  • Is there a book that you enjoyed that you would like to re-read?
  • What are some topics that you would like to learn more about?
  • What is at the top of your reading list? Why? Do you think you could find other texts like this?

Find a comfy place for reading.

Set a goal for how long, or how much, you will read every day. Share this goal with your family.
