Reading Prompts
Goals:
- Read recipes and find one to make
- Work with your parents or caregiver to make your chosen recipe
Cooking takes planning, preparation, and patience!
Do you have a favourite family recipe you would like to make? If you want to try something new, there are more cooking ideas in the links below.
As you read different recipes, think about:
- How hard are the recipes to make?
- How do you think the recipes would taste?
- Do you have the ingredients the recipes need?
- Will the recipes make healthy food?
When you have chosen a recipe, read it with a parent or caregiver. Decide together if this recipe is a good one to try.
Once you find a recipe you both like, find a time to cook together!
