Reading Prompts

Goals:

  • Think about the reading you have done and share your thinking with others
  • Represent a story (or scene from a story) visually

Think about what you have been reading over the past few days.
Was there a story or scene from your reading that captured your imagination?

Make a storyboard (or comic strip) that shows this scene. You can see an example here.

Questions to think about:

  • What are the most important events you need to show?
  • How many cells (pictures) will you need to tell your story?
  • What characters will you include?
  • Can you include speech bubbles to help tell the story?

Share your comic strip with someone when you are finished!

Other Opportunities:

  • You could make a comic strip showing a favourite scene from a movie or TV show you watched or an audiobook you listened to.
