Place Value Number Battle

2 players

Materials:

  • Deck of cards with the face cards and 10s removed, Ace is worth one

How to Play:

  • Players shuffle and then deal out the deck of cards face down.
  • Players simultaneously flip over their top two cards to create a 2-digit number.

Players may move the cards and place them in any position of the number they wish.

The highest number wins. In this case Player 2 would win the 4 cards. The player with the most cards wins the game.

Adaptations:

To use larger numbers you could have each player flip over 3 cards.
