Bedtime

Sometimes it’s all about the simplest things. Whenever we’re struggling, it’s great to go back to basics. So in an effort to keep it super simple, here are some easy ideas that kids love. Most of all, they will appreciate spending a little time together 💙

Use your child as a hero in bedtime stories. Don’t use their name but what they look like, such as: “A 4-year-old girl with dark curly hair was pulling a wagon when…” Include familiar sites and things they will recognize. They will soon realize you’re talking about them!

Bedtime stories help your child wind down from the busyness of the day so that they can go to sleep. What better way than with a special storytime where you’re telling stories about them, and that calls on them to reflect on the details of their life.
