Let’s Focus

Sometimes it’s all about the simplest things. Whenever we’re struggling, it’s great to go back to basics. So in an effort to keep it super simple, here are some easy ideas that kids love. Most of all, they will appreciate spending a little time together 💙

Retell a favourite family moment with your child. Start by saying something like, “Remember the first time you climbed the ladder at the playground?” Share how you remember that experience and ask them: “How did it feel? What were you thinking about?” You might be surprised at what they remember!

Making memories and creating family stories together help your child learn to love language, while at the same time making your special bond stronger. You also encourage them to exercise their memory and attention skills to remember and retell what happened.
