Let’s Focus

Sometimes it’s all about the simplest things. Whenever we’re struggling, it’s great to go back to basics. So in an effort to keep it super simple, here are some easy ideas that kids love. Most of all, they will appreciate spending a little time together 💙

Encourage your child to go on a number adventure. You could ask them to find the numbers one through five in things he sees around the house or out the window (like cars or signs). As they become more familiar with the game, add more numbers or ask them to come up with their own way to play.

As your child searches for numbers, they must use their focus and working memory. When you use everyday moments like these to explore math concepts, like numbers and counting, you’re helping them build a strong foundation for learning now and in the future.
