Go for a walk around your neighbourhood with an adult (or around your backyard if by yourself) and look for math all around you! Pay attention to things in nature, architecture and what’s in the sky and on the ground!
Some examples include
- Find a pattern
- Something symmetrical
- A collection of things and compare them
- Find some that are bigger/smaller/the same size
- How many?
- Count them, then find a different way to count them
- Did you find a numeral or some digits?
