Goals:

April 8th is the International Day of Pink. Across the world, people are standing up against bullying and discrimination.
The day is usually marked by wearing a pink shirt and by organizing activities in workplaces, schools and communities.
First, to learn more about how “Day of Pink” started, you can:
- watch this video “The Story of Pink Shirt Day”
- or read this article “Bullied student tickled pink by schoolmates’ T-shirt campaign.”
Next, talk to a family member about how the Day of Pink started and why it is important to stand up to bullying. If you have experienced bullying, talk to a trusted adult about what happened.
