The Earth is an amazing home, but it needs our help to stay healthy!

Today, you will have a chance to learn more about how we can keep the Earth healthy.

Choose a topic from the list below. Use the links to learn more about your chosen topic. Your topic should be something about Earth Day you would like to learn more about.

You can also use the encyclopedias from the WRDSB Library, Britannica Elementary (demonstration) and Gale – Kids Infobits (demonstration), to find out more about your topic.

A topic you choose You can also choose your own topic related to Earth Day to research.
Some possibilities include:

  • What are some important facts related to your topic?
  • What concerns you about this topic?
  • What actions can people take that will make a positive difference?

Keep some jot notes of what you learn about your topic.

Tomorrow, you will use your jot notes to make an Earth Day Poster.
