Connecting Reading and Writing: Historical Heroes
Goals:
- Use online tools to research information related to your Historical Hero
Yesterday you developed some questions you had about your Historical Hero.
Today, you will read some online databases to look for information that might help answer the questions you have.
You can find information on your historical hero by visiting the following research databases:
- The More Information page of the Historical Heroes site (Canadian Encyclopedia links)
- Visit Gale’s Info Kids on the Library Learning Commons (see a demonstration)
Look for information that will answer some of the questions you developed yesterday.
Also note any other interesting information you read.
You can record your ideas using jot notes.
