Goals:

  • Share what you learned about your chosen Historical Hero

Today, you will choose a way to share what you have learned about your chosen Historical Hero.

Use your organized notes from yesterday to write a short piece about your hero. You might even include any unanswered questions you still have in your writing. (“I would like to find out …”)

You can choose the best form to organize your writing:

  • Simple report – a few paragraphs to summarize your research,
  • Poster – a visual representation of your hero, including information that you learned,
  • Newspaper article – write a news report to share your findings
  • Another form you choose (e.g. a letter, a script of a mock interview with the hero…etc.)

Once you are happy with your writing, share it with a family member.
