Writing

Goals

  • generate and organize ideas in a form that makes sense

The Learning Task

An antonym is a word that has the opposite meaning of another word.

Your turn! Write down as many antonym pairs as you can think of (e.g., refuse/accept, rise/fall, create/destroy, fast/slow). Try to come up with at least 10 pairs of words. In either prose or poetic form create a piece of writing using your antonyms that makes sense in some way and share with someone in your home.

Daily task! Don’t forget to engage with your Writer’s Notebook: Creating a Place for Reflection
