Using this heart shape or by drawing your own heart on paper, cut out a heart about the size of your hand.

On a blank piece of paper, trace the heart on your page. Trace it again in another spot and try to overlap a bit of the first heart. Do this again twice more and then look at the heart design that has been created.

Using different repetitive patterns, fill in each puzzle piece so that visual textures are created. For example in one piece you may do polka dots, in another, stripes. You could brainstorm some creative repetitive patterns as well.
