Today is the 50th Anniversary of Earth Day!

Talk with your child about why they think it is important to take care of our Earth.

Together with your child, listen to The Earth Book by Todd Parr.

The author has created a poster in the book of 10 things we can do to take care of the Earth. Encourage your child to think of 10 things that your family can do to take care of the Earth. How would they like to share their ideas? A poster to hang in your home as a reminder? A written “pledge” or promise signed by everyone in your home?

Have fun together, thinking of ways to be stewards of our Earth!
