List poems are just that – a list! The list poem can be funny, or serious. It can rhyme, but it doesn’t have to. The “form” of a list poem often looks like this:

Name of the person, place or thing
Listen and read the example of this list poem about the author’s lunch.
Look back at your ideas from yesterday. Which idea are you taking care of? Which idea would you like to use to write a List Poem of your own?
Who will you write it for? Will it be funny? Serious? Will it rhyme? Choose the very best words to create a picture for your reader, and have fun!
